You are required to renew your Lifeline and/or ACP service each year on your anniversary date. USAC will notify you when it is time to recertify, and they will give you the instructions for how to do so. They also notify the company when your recertification comes due, and Easy Wireless will reach out through text and email to notify you when it is time to recertify.
You will need to update your address within 30 days of moving. Updating the address is a two-step process.
The first step is to update your address with the National Verifier at checklifeline.org
The second step is to then contact Easy Wireless, either calling 611, or 1-877-476-3451 to speak with a customer service representative to update your address in our system.
According to the rules of the ACP program, you are allowed to transfer from one company to another company only once per month. If your service has been transferred once this month, you will need to wait until the first of the next month to transfer to Easy Wireless.
Alternatively, you can call your current provider and disconnect your service with them, which may take up to 48 hours. Once the disconnect is complete, you will be able to enroll with Easy Wireless as a “new” customer right away.
Don’t know who your current provider is? The National Verifier Support Center can tell you who your current provider is. Call 1-800-234-9473 to speak with a USAC representative to find out which ACP Company has your service.
Didn’t authorize the switch away from Easy Wireless? Call 1-800-234-9473 to report the fraudulent transfer to USAC and then call the new company to request disconnection so that Easy Wireless can get you back!
Contact customer service at 611, or 877-476-3451 Monday through Saturday 9am-6pmET or through chat during business hours.
