Can I get more than one free cell phone with food stamps?
Yes you can. Additional applicants are required to fill out a Household Worksheet if they reside at an address with multiple “households”. If someone else at the address already has Lifeline, they can fill out a Household Worksheet to help USAC determine their Lifeline eligibility. They can also get a second phone through the ACP program. One phone for LL, one phone for ACP.
However, if you are looking to add a second line or buy an additional phone, Lifeline service providers often offer discounted phones or add-on service plans to help you keep your expenses low when adding services.
Are free cell phones really free?
Free cell phones are provided free of charge by Lifeline service providers when you qualify for their program. So, to the customer, the phone can be considered free.
What government phone service gives you a free phone?
The Lifeline program provides free phone service to qualifying households. You can apply for this service through Lifeline service providers in your area, such as EASY Wireless.
What are the data speeds for Lifeline and EBB service customers?
