The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) enables people to access affordable monthly broadband Internet service as well as certain connected devices at discounted prices.
How to Qualify for Lifeline and ACP?
Veterans qualify for free cell phones and service if they or someone in their household participate in any of the following Federal programs:
- Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Food Stamps
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
You can also qualify with certain Tribal Programs:
- Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) General Assistance
- Tribally Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Tribal Head Start
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
Qualify for Lifeline and ACP with Your Income
You can also qualify for Lifeline and ACP with your household income level if they are 135% of the Federal Poverty Level or below. Check the following chart to see if you qualify.

You can qualify with additional government programs:
