Apply for a Lifeline phone in a couple simple ways:
Contact phone service providers in your area that participate in Lifeline to start an application, like Safelink Wireless or Access Wireless. They will walk you through the eligibility verification process.
Apply online at LifelineSupport.org. Enter information about your income, household size, and any government programs you participate in. Your eligibility will then be verified electronically whenever possible.
Fill out a paper Lifeline application at LifelineSupport.org and mail it in with copies of your proof of eligibility documents. Your application will be reviewed within 30 to 60 days.
Call the Lifeline Support Center at 1-800-234-9473 to apply over the phone or have a paper application mailed to you.
